Training Update / March 15, 2021

PDS-0230/0235 Principles of Emergency Management/Emergency Planning was opened to learners who had their course cancelled in 2020.  This course is now filled and will not be posted in LMS.

G-0393 Hazard Mitigation for Emergency Managers will be opened to learners in the coming weeks.  Learners who had this course cancelled in 2020 will have priority over the open seats and if space permits, the course will be added to the LMS schedule and open to all learners.

The Training Team anticipates posting additional VILT in the LMS.

Homeland Security and Emergency Management continues to monitor guidance from the State of MN Department of Health and
Center for Disease Control (CDC) as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the HSEM Training
Staff is in the process of redeveloping the instructor led courses to be given virtually.  We will be revising the current course content to fit the new format using Adobe Connect.  We thank you for your patience and understanding during this process.

Please continue to check the HSEM LMS for updates.
